Powdercoating is a process which uses a solvent free dry mix of plastic resins, pigments and fillers that are melted and fused together when heat is applied.
The basis of good powdercoating is preparation. Inferior powdercoating is due to a lack of suitable preparation. Pre-treatment of the aluminium is a vital part of the powdercoating process ensuring the product is clean and uncontaminated. It is essential that the product is pre-treated for corrosion.
Mastercoat has a five stage treatment process.
In addition a demineralised water treatment is used for high grade powder.
